Will the treatments accelerate my lawn growth and have to increase my mowing frequency?
Our liquid treatments are professionally formulated with non-synthetic, slow-release nutrients, applied through a structured three-round program. This approach ensures gradual growth without sudden surges, providing your lawn with the essential nutrients it requires while typically eliminating the need to increase your mowing frequency.
My lawn needs quite a bit of work, will the treatments thin my yard out that is full of weeds and grubs?
Unfortunately, when we start treating a yard that badly needs nutrients and weed control, it’s not unusual for it to look a little worse before it gets better. As the weeds die out and grub control is applied in the summer, you might notice bare spots until the grass grows back in the treated areas. Depending on how much treatment your lawn needs, it’s highly recommended to use our aerate and overseed service to help fill in the spots once occupied by weeds.
Should I change how I mow after treatments?
When treating the lawn, we usually recommend mowing it to a height of 3 to 4 inches. Slightly taller grass not only helps shade out potential weeds but also looks its best at this length. However, this is just a suggestion, and you can adjust the height of your lawn to suit your preferences.
I am concerned with the liquid treatment around my family and/or pets.
On the day of treatment, we will notify you of our arrival and ask that children and pets stay inside while we apply the lawn treatment. Please keep off the lawn for 1–2 hours afterward, depending on weather conditions, to allow the application to dry before returning outside. During the process, we will monitor current climate conditions to provide an estimate of when you can resume activities in your yard. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let us know so we can address them.
Any other questions and concerns you may have please contact us and we will be happy to answer!
